Mango Milkshake Recipe – Fresh Mango Shake with Vanilla Ice Cream

Memorial day is right around the corner. The true purpose of memorial day is to honor brave men and women who died while in the service of the United States military. Thank the veterans you know. Enjoy the great outdoors and feast on food. I am sharing Mango Milkshake recipe for your long weekend. It is also to celebrate another event, my 50th blog post.

Yay! I made it to my 50th blog post. Thank you dear readers and followers! So what better way to celebrate than with satisfying treat made with my favorite fruit.  A scoop of ice cream and chopped nuts will transform this simple mango milkshake into a yummy treat everyone will love.




Measuring cup used: 1 cup = 250ml

Yield: 2 cups

Chopped mango cubes: 1 Cup(choose a ripe mango, peel the skin and chop)

Chilled Milk- 1/2 cup

Raw sugar – 1&1/2 Tbsp.(Add more or less depending on the desired sweetness)

Ice cubes – 7-8

Vanilla Ice cream – 1 scoop(use our favorite brand)

Chopped pistachios – 1 tsp.

Sliced almonds – 1 tsp.


Step 1:

Add chopped mango, ice cubes, sugar and milk in the blender jar. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Start on low speed and slowly increase speed to high.  I used smoothie setting in the Vitamix. Taste it and adjust the sweetness and consistency, as per your preference.

Step 2:

Pour it in a serving glass. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Top with chopped pistachios and almonds. Serve immediately.
